According to @evleaks –who has managed to provide a good amount of accurate information regarding the mobile market in the past-, the US carrier Sprint might get to retail two brand new LG smartphones in the near future.

These gadgets are the Optimus F3 and the G Pro, the latter being already available in the States through AT&T.

The Optimus F3 is supposed to be an affordable handset, boasting a WVGA display measuring 4 inches in diagonal, as well as 4G network capabilities. The image you see above has been provided by @evleaks and is supposed to represent a render of the F3.

As for the Optimus G Pro, this gadget doesn't really needs an introduction at this point, at least not for the majority of people, but the short story is that the G Pro is LG's current flagship phone which is supposed to compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One. The handset packs a 5.5 inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920, 2 GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 600 processor, an Adreno 320 graphics chip, a 13 MP main camera complemented by a 2.1 MP front-facing sensor, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and a beefy 3,140 mAh battery.

If the Optimus G Pro is on its way to Sprint, then the device should share the same overall hardware specs (listed above) as the other variants.

As far as availability goes, the Optimus F3 might be the one to hit the shelves first. The source predicted that the handset should go on sale "in the next few weeks". As for the Optimus G Pro, @evleaks claims that Sprint will get to retail it sometime "this quarter".

Lastly, the G Pro at Sprint has been associated with the model number "LS980", a device that has already been spotted at Bluetooth SIG.

Would any Sprint customer be interested in either one of these gadgets?
