Sprint has just recently announced the ZTE Vital, a new mid-range smartphone that packs a pretty large display for its market segment. The handset is set to go on sale starting with June 14th, at the price of $99 on contract.

In case you're wondering what you can get for that amount of money, the Sprint ZTE Vital packs a 5 inch IPS display featuring a resolution of 720 x 1280, a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 processor running at 1.5 GHz (that's part of the Snapdragon S4 Plus family in case you're wondering), 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of built-in storage. The gadget is also equipped with a microSD card slot that enables the user to expand the storage by an additional 64 GB.

Furthermore, the handset delivers a 13 MP main camera featuring LED flash, and a 1 MP secondary camera fitted on the front panel. The entire package is powered up by a 2,500 mAh user removable battery which allegedly provides up to 15 hours of talk time. The Sprint ZTE Vital also benefits from Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and last but not least, the Vital is 4G LTE capable, it has NFC, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0 among other features.

Once again, the ZTE Vital will be available for purchase in just a few days (on June 14th), so keep an eye on Sprint's website if you're interested in buying this device. Are you interested? Feel free to leave a comment below.

ZTE Vital seems one of the best phone from sprint in US. What particularly impressed me most is with its responsive 5-inch screen and the marked improvements with the camera quality.
