First off,i would like to say that one of the rods from the charging port is missing and that i drop it quite frequently, the sticker for the battery is red but i never had it wet.

It has been acting very strange ever since the start of August, whenever i try to type a word, some of the letters wont appear on the screen and it freezes for a second and goes black and restarts by itself. When i turn it back on the whole routine happens all over again. I called T-Mobile and they say that its either the battery or the phone itself and that i should either get a new battery or take it to a T-Mobile store to fix it. I took it to a store that sold the same batteries and they say it can't be the battery, that its the phone instead. I took it to a T-Mobile store and they say it can be the usb port which is broken, the battery, or the phone itself. Anyone that has any answers and/or suggestions would be very helpful.

It sounds as if the phone is on its last leg, to be honest.
If you snapped a pin on the charging port, the other end of the charging port (inside the phone) could possibly be touching something, causing the phone to act in a weird way.
Dropping it a lot can knock stuff loose inside, too.

With the battery being Red, you don't have to drop it in water for water damage. High Humidity, going from someplace really cold (a house with A/C for example) to outside with a high temp, it can cause moisture on and in the phone (think of sunglasses fogging up when you go from cold to hot really fast).

You are probably better off to start searching for a new phone before that one totally dies.
