Hi,

I am going to be on the Aliant network, and I am debating between the Samsung A500 and A680. Now I know that the A500 is much older, but I am not big on a phone full of features like cameras and video, I just want a phone with real good sound quality and reception, basically I need a phone to use as a phone, that’s about it, so would the A500 be a good phone, or would the A680 be better in all aspects?

Also, if neither of these aren’t that great, could someone take a look at the phones listed on the site below and tell me which one is best, because to tell you the truth, I just don't know anymore. The site is:

OR, if nothing there seems that great, could someone recommend a good CDMA phone, old or new? I am looking to buy new, but I don’t care if it’s an old model or not, I just need something that’s solid in the main aspects.

shoot posted without thinking. i presently have the a660 since i live in canada, durable phone as was my previous, which survived a heave across the road onto concrete with minimum damage
