If you recieve a ringtone, image or recording that can't be played on your phone, there's no need to hunt for a converter! Simply convert it on your phone. Here's how:

1. highlight the tone or image

2. go to rename

3. name it what you want

4. type the file extension in eg. example.mid

There are a number of possible formats, some files will work on multiple formats. I've listed the most common ones below:

tones images

.mid .jpg
.mmf .gif
.mp3
.wav
.amr
.imy

videos games/apps

.mp4 .jar
.3gp .jad


I know this sounds a bit complicated, but it's quite hard to explain. Try it and see if it works!
