Is there a "waterproof" Cell Phone? Seriously. Seems like I'm not the only one (speaking to several people and on line) that has ruined cell phones because the got wet. If not, what an invention!!! hmmmmm....

Why don't you just get the insurance?

I had a customer get a phone on a Friday, a v400 when they first came out, and chose not to get insurance after talking about it for a good 5 minutes. "I've had phones for almost 10 years, and never had anything happen to them, and I've never needed insurance." That Saturday, he went to an outdoor concert. He came back in on Monday, and the phone was all blue. He dropped it in a porto-john. He wound up paying over $250 for a new phone outright....and he did put insurance on the new phone that day!

yeah, insurance is great! for only $6 extra on my monthly bill, sprint will replace my phone if i drop it in the toilet or fall into a swimming pool. i think it's worth the $6 since the phone was free with the plan.

yep, insurance is $6 extra... but what i really think was the best deal out of my plan was for $10 extra i got free nights and weekends after 6pm instead of the standard 9pm. so far i could not be happier with my sprint service.
