I work in a Wireless store and would love to lend my knowledge to any problems that you may have....
My areas of expertice are the Bell, Rogers, and Telus service providers, and have an uncanny knowledge of the "Pay as you go system"....
If you have any questions for me 'bout these or any other areas, leave them here, or PM me....
Thanks people,
Brandon (The Wi-Guy)

Thank You!
Hey Brandon,
I have got the same information you got there. I checked out the books at local library; they did not show how to fix the cp hardware.
Yes, I need general information on how to fix cp. I also wonder how does cell phone technician learn how to fix cp. Did they take a class? Man, I really dont know where to ask.
For example, my Samsung x475 got wet. I could not turn it on. It been 3 months. I got new cp already. But the idea of fixing the Samsung, keep bothering me.
Let me know wat you got okey
Thanks again,
Poly

Well the problem is simple:
cell phones were made in such a manner that they are for a few reasons. Not least of which is that they are exceedingly difficult to fix, easy to lose, and non-durable. It is not to say that a cell phone company doesn't have the ability to make an impact-resistant, water-resistant, trackable cell phone, but that they collectively choose not to.
The reason: money (obviously)...How much money can you make if people only ever have to buy ONE of your cell phones? The money isn't in the sale of someone's first phone (look at the cost of a cell phone on a three year contract), it's in their 3rd and 4th replacement.
Unfortunately, water damage is really difficult and costly to repair. I'm looking into it as we speak though.Thank you very much sir....As my thanks...A Twoonie...
