Hi All, I am new to this forum and need some help.
I am trying to set up a website where I can post cell phone videos and let other people download them into their phones.
What is the best application to use to convert my videos into a cell friendly video format?
An help is appreciated! Thank you in advance

I can't really tell you which is a good converter, but I can tell you that you'll need to convert them to 3gp or mp4. 3gp's probably better. Mp4 is better quality, but not as many phones support it.

Try Xilisoft 3gp converter. I have it and it works very well. It will allow you to convert from avi and mpg to 3gp.

This is what I use - it converts 3GP to AVI very well and is 100% free as far as I can tell.

Re: Getting your own videos onto your cell phone.
Thank you again for your help!! Sadly (this is what happens when you're still a newbie lol), it turns out that the format I'm working with is *3G2*, which must be enough different from *3G* ~ I'm so frustrated lol! When I go to use the program (I finally found which link to click on and download it lol!!),
it wants you to 'look' for 3G cell videos in your 'puter.....oh well...my mistake!! If anyone might know of one just as good as this one, that accepts/converts ones in 3G2 format, pleassse post here....
thanks ya'all!!
