I use Cingular as my carrier and have a free upgrade option. My current phone is a Nokia 3120 and I can tell that the battery is getting a little old.

I would like to try a flip phone, and one with both bluetooth, video capabilities, and mp3 ringtones, and internet capabilities.

My three choices are:

Nokia 6120i--got good reviews on Amazon, but horrible reviews on cnet
LG CU400
Samsung d407

and possibly the sony ericsson z525---but the reviews seem at odds as well

I am on a budget and really just want to get a decent phone with good battery life as I will be keeping this phone for the next couple of years.

can anyone help me with this?

my cingular service area is san francisco and with my current nokia I have excellant reception

Samsung all the way. I my last three phones have been Samsung. They pack a crapload of usable features into a small phone. Just IMO

The LG CU400 that is cooler and it is a Flip phone! Wow. I dont like the Nokia cuz it looks like a REAL phone and that is not good. Hope this helps.

I don't believe the Samsung supports MP3 ringtones. You may want to check into this. I had a Samsung for about 10 minutes a few months ago and immediately got rid of it because it did not support MP3 ringtones.

Not sure why, but you've missed the best selling flip phone on the market today and that would be the Motorola Razr. That would be my suggestion.

why are you limiting yourself to those phones? Those all seem to be older model phones besides the cu400.
