Re: Wet Cell Phone - What To Do if Your Cell Phone Gets Wet!
A friend of mine got her GS3 wet when she went walking, and it rained. She took the back base and the battery and then buried it in rice for like 3 days. It worked like magic and her phone never had problems at all .

I remember doing the same when my cellphone got wet too. Thankfully, I got it working again after a day or two of turning it off.

Re: Wet Cell Phone - What To Do if Your Cell Phone Gets Wet!
I saw some new hi tech process whereby your cell phone gets - what I can only describe as 'fumigated' with something that lays down a layer of nano particles over every internal and external surface, completely waterproofing it. I wish I knew what the process was called!

If your cellphone gets wet, than simply extract the cover, battery, simcard, memory card and than use blower to dry it. I have done the same thing with my Gionee M3 and its working as like before. One more thing you can do is dry it in sunlight.

Re: Wet Cell Phone - What To Do if Your Cell Phone Gets Wet!
I know this topic is too old but still it's useful. This are the steps i used to do if my cellphone is wet.
1.It's advisable to take out the phone out of the water fast.
2.Is to remove the battery, sim and memorycard and wipe it with towel or piece of cloth to dry.
3.Is to use vacuum cleaner on your cellphone to dry it up
4.And put your cellphone into a bag of rice for 1 week. Because rice draw out moisture on your wet phone.
After 1 week you can test your phone i hope it works.
