Omnia does not look as slick as the HTC's Touch-Flo 3d interface, however I could download several apps for the omnia to make it almost as good looking.
The Omnia is 8Gb plus an additional 16+ Gb...HTC only has 4Gb (non-expandable)
I would only be installing one decent size program onto WinMob, and maybe a few apps. I take minimal amounts of pics on my camera phones and would like to put 1Gb of music on the phones as well.
Will I regret getting the HTC b/c of the memory limitation or would 4Gb be enough?
As with the Omnia, has anyone experienced some of the nice freeware apps available?
I'm leaning towards the omnia right now b/c of the whole memory limitation....that is as long as I can switch from Alltel to Verizon

Re: Samsung Omnia or HTC Diamond
The TouchScreen and the physical design of the HTC Touch Diamond is really awesome. But im pretty sure that with all the functionalities of having a touchphone, you wouldn't want to settle with just 4GB memory. 4GB is ok but only for about a month or so, but once you realize you want to put more videos, tv shows, games, apps, files, etc. You might regret not having a lot of memory.
So I will still vote for the Samsung Omnia 16GB. Plus the interface of the Omnia isnt that bad because of the widgets. And the price difference is only about $50.

Re: Samsung Omnia or HTC Diamond
Yeah I guess you are right...4gb really wouldn't last me that long no matter how hard I tried to avoid loading stuff on to the phone. Thanks for your opinion.
I'm either going to opt for the HTC Pro, which isn't as thick as I would have imagined, or try to switch over to Verizon so I can get the Omnia.
