I have a free cell phone from a government service called "SafeLink Wireless".
I'm not allowed to post a link, but it's the first link if you search "safelink" on Google.
My question is if I were to buy a gaming pin, such as one for Runescape, would I get billed for the payment, or would it just come out of my minutes. I get monthly minutes for free, and I was thinking I wouldn't have to pay for it, they'd just deduct my minutes. Is this a correct assumption or no?
Thanks.

Re: SafeLink Wireless and Buying Pins
I can not answer your question, but do have a question.. I just got qualified for this wireless phone and you said you received yours in 3 days... Could you let me know what type of phone this is.. I am excited I am getting a phone since I haven't had one in so many years -- back when they were 12 inches long with no features -- lol. Are you able to use the text feature at all or is it just the very basic phone. I am not interested in pictures/videos etc, but the text would be nice. Thanks for a response.

I dont know if he will respond back, he never did to mine either. The phone you will get is most likely the basic 10dollar tracphone that is sold in many retailers around the country. The one they sell around here is a Motorolla Bar type phone, and I don't believe you will be able to text too much.

Ty BigJames.
Dapper - The cell phone I received is the one found on the front page of their website. It's actually a pretty good sized cell phone, especially for being free. You are able to text, however it isn't unlimited. 1 text = .3 minutes. The amount of minutes you receive varies. It's actually a pretty decent deal for a free phone.
