    Garmin-Asus has come together to offer a new smartphone that promises to give the handset a longer battery life. The battery life is said to last up to 5 hours of talk time and runs on Android 2.1 and will give users new functions with Navigation to street view and an in car experience.

    Owners of the new Garmin-Asus handset will be able to download more apps, two times more, and will include CIAO, movie listings and panoramio as well as 4G storage space. A feature called 'First to Fix Time' has 29 seconds which is the fastest compared to other handsets.

    Price of the Garmin-Asus handset will cost around Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 22,000.

    Thats what I thought too but apparently not , i saw a couple of garmin phone at timtechs.com and they look intertesting too

    Well they could still probably be successful if it didnt seem like you were using a gps with a phone added to it, instead of a phone with a gps app added onto it. But I guess that is what garmin specializes in.

    Garmin-Asus rolled out its first Android-based smartphone for the Indian market that promise to offer remarkable battery life.
    Apart from featuring GIPS navigation capabilities, the handset run on Android 2.1 platform.
    It also has 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus.
