The Sharp Touch Wood concept phone was supposed to be just that....a concept phone, but it looks as if the Japanese market loves it so much that they have decided to make 15,000 units available. The Sharp Touch Wood handset is a curvy cellphone that is wood trimmed to give it that unique feel and look. The wood is from a local cypress timber and being that it comes from the cypress, each phone will have its own distinctive pattern as well as color.

Some of the features of the Sharp Touch Wood handset include: a 5MP camera, a 3.4-inch (854 x 480) display, a MicroSDHC expansion slot, and your usual GSM and 3G wireless radios.

NTT DoCoMo will have this handset available around February or March. Price of the Sharp Touch Wood has not been mentioned.
