Rogers and Fido customer in Canada can now receive the Android Froyo 2.2 update for their Acer Liquid E handsets. The Acer Liquid E handset was originally launched with the Android 2.1 and after the Android 2.2 Froyo update, will run the newest mobile operatiing system by Google.

In order to get the update, you will need to download it from your computer as the update is not available over the air. The download has to be done from the Acer website and installed.
