Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC to the ZenFone 2E:
- Connect the ZenFone to your computer via USB
- Swipe the Status bar down and ensure the phone is connected as a Media Device (MTP)
- In the AutoPlay window on the computer, double-click Open folders to view files and access the Media directory
- Open a second Explorer window and navigate to the desired audio files on the phone
- Copy the desired files and paste them in the first Explorer window on the phone, in the Media folder (preferably under Ringtones / Notifications)
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the handset from the USB connector
Change the Phone Ringtone:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Access Settings
- Swipe to Device and tap Sound
- Under Call Ringtones & vibrate, tap Phone ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, you can enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone of a Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cant be assigned to contacts stored on the phones internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Select the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access the Settings menu
- Swipe to Device
- Tap Sound & notification
- Scroll to Sound
- Tap Default Notification Sound and select the desired notification audio file
- Tap OK to confirm
