Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can use the app to sync your iPhone contacts to your Google account. Next you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the ZTE Grand X 3.

  1. Connect your iPhone to a PC via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone to access the phone’s summary page
  4. Access the “Info” tab and turn on “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Register your Google account, or alternatively click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” and wait for the sync to end
  8. Once completed, switch to the ZTE Grand X 3 and register the same Google account as the one used in iTunes
  9. On the ZTE device, allow the account to sync contacts with your phone

Using iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer with Internet access, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. On the computer, open the Internet browser
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer
  7. Once downloaded, import the file to “Google Contacts”, or alternatively:
  8. You can skip the step above and instead connect the ZTE Grand X 3 to your computer via USB, then copy the vCard to the phone storage and import it via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the methods above require access to a computer, alternatively you can transfer your iPhone contacts through third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Open the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the application and tap “Backup”
  3. Once the backup file is done, tap “Email”
  4. Ensure the vCard backup file is attached to the email
  5. Send the email to your own address and switch to the ZTE Grand X 3
  6. Open the email client and download the vCard on the Grand X 3
  7. Use the “Contacts” application to import the vCard

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for contact transfer. The application is available on iOS and Android, and uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types, cross-platform.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Play Store and install the same app on the ZTE Grand X 3
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send”
  5. Go to “Contacts” and select the contacts you wish to share
  6. Tap “Send” and select a transfer method, such as “Receive” on the ZTE, or “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and follow the on-screen steps for each method
