Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Connect the Lava Fuel F1 to your PC via USB
  2. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
  3. Make sure “Media device (MTP)” is enabled
  4. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  5. Locate the desired audio files on the PC
  6. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones”, “Notifications”, “Alarms” folder(s)
  7. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Launch “Settings”
  3. Tap “Sound” under “Device”
  4. Tap “Phone ringtone” under “Call ringtone & vibrate”
  5. Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “OK”
  6. Optionally, you can turn “Also vibrate for calls” On or Off

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the internal memory or the SIM card.
  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Go to “All Contacts”
  3. Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
  4. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Open the “Settings” menu
  2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “Default Notification Sound” under “Sound”
  4. Tap the desired notification sound
  5. Tap “OK”
