Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the Asus ZenFone Go to your computer via USB
- Drag the Status bar down on the home screen
- Ensure Media device (MTP) is enabled
- Launch the File Explorer on the PC
- Locate the desired audio files on your computer
- Copy the audio files you wish to use for ringtones, and transfer them in the Ringtones / Notifications directories on the phone
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray, and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the phones Settings menu
- Tap Sound under Device
- Scroll to Call Ringtones & vibrate, tap Phone ringtone
- Select the ringtone you wish to use
- Tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, you can enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones to contacts located on the phones internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Tap the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone
- Choose a ringtone and tap OK
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open the phones Settings menu
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notifications
- Tap Default Notification Sound under Sound
- Tap the desired notification
- Tap OK to confirm and save changes
