Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Lenovo K5 Note to your computer via USB
- Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen and enable Media device (MTP) if necessary
- On the computer, open the File Explorer
- Locate the desired audio files on the PC
- Copy the files and paste them on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones, Alarms, Notification folders
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray
- Safely disconnect the Lenovo device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch Settings
- Tap Sound under Device
- Under Call ringtone & vibrate, tap Phone ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, you can enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Assign a Custom Ringtone to a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the phones internal memory or the SIM card.
- Launch Contacts
- Select the desired contact and tap Edit
- Tap Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open the Settings menu
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default Notification Sound under Sound
- Tap the desired notification sound and press OK to assign it
