Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Lenovo K5 Note to your computer via USB
  2. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen and enable “Media device (MTP)” if necessary
  3. On the computer, open the File Explorer
  4. Locate the desired audio files on the PC
  5. Copy the files and paste them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones”, “Alarms”, “Notification” folders
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray
  7. Safely disconnect the Lenovo device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch “Settings”
  3. Tap “Sound” under “Device”
  4. Under “Call ringtone & vibrate”, tap “Phone ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  6. Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Assign a Custom Ringtone to a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Open the “Settings” menu
  2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “Default Notification Sound” under “Sound”
  4. Tap the desired notification sound and press “OK” to assign it
