Create a Contact:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Open “Contacts”
  3. Access the “All Contacts” tab
  4. Tap “+” and enter the contact’s details in the appropriate fields
  5. When ready, tap “Done” to save the contact

Link a Contact to Speed Dial (Direct Dial Widget):

  1. Tap and hold an empty space on the home screen
  2. Go to “Widgets”
  3. Find the “Direct dial 1 x 1” widget (part of the “Contacts” widget pack)
  4. Drag the direct dial widget and drop it in an empty area on the home screen
  5. At the prompt, select the phone number / contact you want to link with the widget
  6. Repeat the steps above if you wish to add multiple Direct Dial widgets on the home screen

NOTE: You can organize Direct Dial widgets in folders on the home screen by dragging and dropping them one on top of another.

Import / Export Contacts:

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Go to “All Contacts”
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Import / Export”
  4. Choose to “Import from storage” or “Export to storage”
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • When exporting contacts, remember the file’s name for future use and tap “OK”
    • When importing contacts, select the account you want to use for contact sync, then select the vCard you want to import to your phonebook

Deleting Contacts:

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Go to “All Contacts”
  3. Select the contact you want to remove
  4. Tap “Edit” (icon shaped like a pencil)
  5. Tap “Menu” > “Delete” > “OK”

Clear the Call Log:

  1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Call history”
  3. For more details on a call log entry, tap it
  4. To clear the call log, go to the “Call history” screen and tap “Menu”
  5. Tap “Clear call log”

Create a Caller Group via New Contact:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Go to “All Contacts”
  3. Tap “+”
  4. Under “Groups” tap “Group name”
  5. Tap “Create a new group”
  6. Enter a name for the group and tap “OK”
  7. To save the group, press “Back”

Add a Contact to an Existing Caller Group:

  1. Launch “Contacts” and go to “All Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the contact you want to add
  3. Tap “Edit”
  4. Tap “Group name” under “Groups”
  5. Select the group you want to add the contact to
  6. Tap “Back” to save the changes
