I couldn't get the phone to sync with the computer but it would charge. Then it stopped charging. Bought two new usb cables with no success. Thought I'd have to buy a new phone-after getting lots of advice on how to solve the problem. Finally I looked for any obstruction in the charge/usb port. Not seeing anything I stuck a knife point in and applied pressure on the contact tab in there bending it just a little. Works fine now.

There is only one way left. Take that phone to your nearest care centre as I guess the charger pin require replacement or something more. One of my friends also had same problems in his cell phjones.He tried using new USB chargers that was ordered from an online store as "Mobansp". But Finally he have to replace its phone carger pin.

I considered that but figured it would cost nearly as much as a new smart phone. I looked at the ATT store at the new androids. I'll check anyway. BTW ATT seems to have the best deals presently. You can get on the 10 cents per minute plan with many of their smart phones-you cant get that at Version.
