Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the XOLO Era 2 to your computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer (MTP) / Media Device (MTP) at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the computer storage
- Copy the desired audio files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications / Alarms folder(s)
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the Apps drawer
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, you can set Also vibrate for calls ON or OFF
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the contact you want to customize
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone to use
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
