Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with a Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Lenovo device.
- Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and computer
- Open iTunes on the PC
- Access the Info section
- Turn on Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or alternatively, click Configure and select an existing account if applicable
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync is complete, switch to the Lenovo K6 Note and sign in with the Google account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Lenovo
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Access Contacts and select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer and once done, follow one of these steps:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Lenovo K6 Note to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import it using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup. This will create a backup vCard file containing your iPhone contacts
- Tap Email to compose a new email
- Ensure the vCard is attached to the email and send it to your own address
- Switch to the Lenovo K6 Note and open the email
- Download the vCard attachment and import it to your phonebook using Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app for Android and iOS which can be used for transferring contacts cross platform without requiring a computer.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Go to the Play Store and install the app on the Lenovo K6 Note
- Open the app on both devices
- Tap Send > Contacts on the iPhone
- Select the contacts you want to share and tap Send
- Lastly, choose a transfer method, such as Generate QR Code on the iPhone or Receive on the Lenovo K6 Note
