Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data including contacts with the Maverick Pro.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer
- In iTunes, click the iPhone and access Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account, or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- After the sync is done, switch to the Maverick Pro and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:
NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have been previously backed up to your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard is downloaded, perform one of the following:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Maverick Pro to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts via third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can be used to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Open the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup. This will create a vCard backup file containing your iPhone contacts
- After the vCard is done, tap Email
- Ensure the vCard is attached to the email and send it to your own address
- Switch to the Maverick Pro, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Launch the Play Store and install the same app on the Maverick Pro
- Open the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, select the desired transfer method, such as Generate QR Code or Receive and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
