I was thinking about getting a Posh Micro X phone, to replace my aging Motorola Vader, 8160.

It is an old Alltel phone, with Alltel plan using Verizon, and it no longer rings. The only thing that works yet is the voice mail. I anyone calls, and doesn't leave a message, I have no idea anyone called, and so it's probably on it's way out, or keep putting up with it till it completely goes, but don't know what time frame it would be when it leaves me high and dry.

Anyway, all I want is a small phone to talk on like my old Vader, but this must be a GSM phone, and was wondering if there will be much difference in operation compared to the CDMA phone I have?
