Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the BLU R1 Plus.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB using the Lightning cable
  2. Open iTunes on the computer
  3. Access the “Info” section
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or alternatively, click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. Once the sync is done, switch to the BLU R1 Plus and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts From iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case the contacts on your iPhone have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Wait for the vCard to be downloaded and then follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the BLU R1 Plus to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer with an active Internet connection, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
  3. Tap “Email” and ensure the vCard is attached
  4. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  5. On the BLU device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use, available on iOS and Android. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the BLU R1 Plus via the Google Play Store
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method on one of the smartphones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
