i'm going to get a smartphone soon. most likely from Verizon wireless, but not guaranteed.
I want to have minutes with absolutely no data plan. I want to use my home wifi, and hot spots only.
I am told this can't be done without the cell phone company billing me.
how they can legally charge for a service they have nothing to do with is beyond me. anyway....is there a way?
can I connect to the internet without the all seeing cell phone companies boning me?
because I am not going to pay them for using wifi I already pay time warner for.
sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot. any info would be greatly appreciated.
