Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Micromax device to your computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate and select the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications / Alarms directories under the Media folder
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch Settings and scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, choose to turn Also vibrate for calls On or Off
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot assign custom ringtones to contacts located on the phones internal memory or SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Press OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
