Sync iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Click the iPhone and access Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Once the sync is complete, switch to the Archos device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with an active Internet connection and export the contacts in a vCard file.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings
- Click Export vCard
- After the vCard is downloaded, follow one of these steps:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and access Google Contacts, then import the vCard to your account
- Connect the Android device to your PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: You can also share your iPhone contacts without a PC, using third party apps. My Contacts Backup I an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Launch the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the application
- Tap Backup to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
- Once the backup is done, tap Email
- Compose a new email containing the vCard and send it to your own address
- Switch to the Android device and open the email
- Download the vCard attachment and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.
- Launch the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Visit the Google Play Store on the Archos device and install the same app
- Launch the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send again
- Lastly, select the desired transfer method on one of the smartphones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
