Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data including contacts with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your PC via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
  3. Access “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google backup account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Once the sync is done, switch to the Archos 55 Graphite and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  7. Sync the contacts from the account with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contact and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. After the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer, visit “Google Contacts” and import the vCard to your account, or:
    • Connect the Archos device to your PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard backup file
  3. Tap “Email” and ensure the vCard is attached
  4. Send the email to your own address
  5. On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

  1. Install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the Android device
  3. Launch the app on both handsets
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select a transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete
