Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data including contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to your PC via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
- Access Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google backup account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Once the sync is done, switch to the Archos 55 Graphite and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
- Sync the contacts from the account with your Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contact and click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer, visit Google Contacts and import the vCard to your account, or:
- Connect the Archos device to your PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Launch the app and tap Backup to create a vCard backup file
- Tap Email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address
- On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Use Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.
- Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone from the App Store
- Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the Android device
- Launch the app on both handsets
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, select a transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete
