Transfer iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Micromax Canvas Selfie 2.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. Go to “Info
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account. Alternatively click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. After the sync is complete, switch to the Android device and register the same Google account use in iTunes
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Log in with your iCloud account
  4. Access “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts
  6. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  7. Once the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Android device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts via third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard backup file containing your iPhone contacts
  3. Once the vCard is done, tap “Email
  4. Compose a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  6. On the Micromax device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  7. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use. The app is available on Android and iOS, and uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, including contacts, without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Android phone
  3. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  4. Select the desired contact and tap “Send
  5. Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
