Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android device to your computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the computer storage
- Transfer the audio files on the phone storage, preferably in the Media directory
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, turn Also vibrate for calls On or Off
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts stored on the phones internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Default notification ringtone and select the notification sound you want to use
- Tap OK to confirm
