Create a New Contact:
- Launch Contacts
- Go to All contacts
- Tap +
- Select an account with which to sync the contact or select a different storing method
- Enter the contacts phone number, name, and other optional details in the appropriate fields
- Tap Done
Import/Export Contacts:
- Open Contacts and tap Menu
- Go to Import/Export
- Select to Import from SIM, Import from storage or Export to storage
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
Add Contacts to Speed Dial:
- Tap and hold an empty area on the home screen
- Access Widgets
- Drag the Direct Dial widget and drop it over an empty area on the home screen
- When prompted, select the contact you want to link with the widget
NOTE: By repeating the steps above you can add multiple Direct Dial widgets for additional contacts on the home screen. Furthermore you can drag the Direct Dial widget and drop it over another to create a Direct Dial folder on the home screen.
Reset the Call Log:
- Open Phone
- Tap Menu > Call history
- To view more details on a call log entry, select it
- To clear the call log, tap Menu > Call history > Clear call log
Remove a Contact:
- Launch Contacts
- Access All contacts
- Select the contact you want to remove and tap Edit
- Press Menu > Delete
- Tap OK again
Create a Caller Group Using an Existing Contact:
- Open Contacts
- Access All contacts
- Select the contact you want to use for creating the group
- Tap More Fields > Group name
- Tap Create new group and enter the desired group name
- Tap OK to confirm
Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:
- Launch Contacts
- Go to All contacts and select the contact you want to add to an existing group
- Tap Edit > More Fields > Group name
- Select the desired caller group and tap OK to confirm
