Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC storage
  5. Copy the desired audio files and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound and Notification”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  5. Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM Card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact and tap “Edit”
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone to use for the specific contact and press “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification” > “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired notification sound
  5. Press “OK” to confirm
