Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC
  4. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder
  5. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  5. Optionally, you can turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the contact whose ringtone you want to change
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  4. Tap “Set ringtones” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Press “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Tap “Sound & Notification” under “Device”
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the notification alert sound you want to assign
  5. Press “OK”
