Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. Click the iPhone and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu and log in with your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync is done, switch to the Alcatel device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Set the account to sync contacts with the device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Log in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. After the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the PC and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import its contents to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts in vCard format over email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Once the backup is done, tap “Email”
  4. Ensure the vCard is attached and send the email to your own address
  5. On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Via Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the Play Store and install the same device on the Alcatel device
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” and select the desired contacts
  5. Tap “Send” again and select a transfer method on one of the devices
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
