Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Transfer the desired files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK”
  6. Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact whose ringtone you want to change
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Press “OK”

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access “Device’
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  5. Select the desired notification alert
  6. Tap “OK”
