Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC
  4. Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” “Ringtones” and/or “Notification” folder(s)
  5. After the transfer completes, you can safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  5. Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the device storage or the SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  4. Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK”

Change the Notification Alert:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Under “Device” tap “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired notification alert
  5. Tap “OK”
