Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the android phone to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Navigate to the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and transfer the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folders
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  5. Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the internal memory or SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK”

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Device”
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired notification ringtone and tap “OK”
