Transfer iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account and then sync the account data with the Android phone.
- Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and PC
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: Using a computer with Internet access, you can export your iPhone contacts from an iCloud backup in vCard format which can be used on the Android device.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts and select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Once done, follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
- Launch the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Once the vCard is done, send it to your own email address as an attachment
- On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts cross-platform without requiring computer access.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the app on the Android phone via the Play Store
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Tap Send and select a transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the prompts to complete the process
