Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the computer
- Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage in the Ringtones and Notifications directories
- Once the process is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound & notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound & notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification sound
- Tap OK
