Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage in the Ringtones and Notifications folders
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound & notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cant set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification
- Tap OK
