Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Launch iTunes
- Click the iPhone and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- After the process completes, follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone from the App Store
- Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Write an email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the vCard to your own email address and switch to the Android phone
- Download the vCard attachment on the Android device
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without needing access to a computer.
- Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
- Install the app on the Android device from the Play Store
- Open the app on both phones
- On the sender device, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired iPhone contacts and tap Send
- Lastly select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts to complete the process
