Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, and contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Click the iPhone and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing one
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account and access Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and use Google Contacts to import it to your phonebook
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: The methods above require a computer with Internet access but alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to share contacts via email.
- Install the app on the iPhone via the App Store
- Open the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share content cross-platform without computer access.
- Go to the Play Store and install the app on the Android phone
- Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
- Launch the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Tap Send and select a transfer method on one of the devices
- Follow the prompts to complete the process
