Share iPhone Contacts using iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the PC
  3. Access “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  5. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  6. Switch to the Android phone and sign in with the account used in iTunes
  7. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use the Contacts app to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Launch the app
  3. Use the app to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
  4. Compose an email and attach the vCard to the email
  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
  7. Import the vCard to your phonebook using the Contacts app

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere, on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Install the app on both phones from their respective app stores
  2. Open the app on both devices
  3. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  4. Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts to complete the process
