Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media File MTP” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and navigate to the audio files on the PC storage
  4. Copy and paste the desired audio files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” folders
  5. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Swipe up on the home screen from the bottom
  2. Launch “Settings”
  3. Access “Sound”
  4. Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the desired ringtone

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: You can’t assign custom ringtones for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom
  2. Launch “Contacts”
  3. Tap and hold the desired contact and tap “Edit”
  4. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Save”

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound”
  3. Tap “Default notification sound”
  4. Select the desired notification ringtone

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Launch “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Wireless Alerts” > “Menu”
  4. Tap “Settings” and turn “Allow alerts” “AMBER Alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats” ON or OFF
