Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media File MTP” on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and navigate to the audio files on the PC storage
  4. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” directories
  5. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Tap “Sound” > “Phone ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom
  2. Launch “Contacts”
  3. Tap and hold the desired contact
  4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Save”

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Open “Settings” and access “Sound”
  2. Tap “Default notification sound”
  3. Select the desired notification ringtone

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Launch “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Settings” > “Wireless Alerts”
  4. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  5. Turn “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats” ON or OFF
