Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer and go to “Info”
  3. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  5. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  6. Once done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  7. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: You can share your iPhone contacts from iCloud backup by logging in to iCloud with your account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Log in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and click ”Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via the Contacts app

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an app for iOS that can back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Open the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Compose an email and attach the vCard
  4. Send the vCard to your own email address
  5. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using the “Contacts” app

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS to share contacts over a peer-to-peer connection without requiring computer access.

  1. Install the app on both phones form their respective app stores
  2. Launch the app on both devices
  3. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  5. Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts to complete the process
