Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once the sync completes, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with your Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: if your iPhone contacts are backed up to your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and log in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook using the Contacts app
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party applications like My Contacts Backup for iOS. The app can back up and share contacts over email.
- Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
- Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address
- Switch to the Android phone and open the email
- Download the vCard and import it using the Contacts app
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for Android and iOS. The app can share content without requiring a computer, using peer-to-peer connectivity.
- Install the app on both devices from their respective app stores
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Choose a transfer method on one of the devise and follow the prompts to complete the process
